This export-grade flashback arrestor is specially designed to install on the outlet of oxygen or acetylene pressure regulators. It is made of full brass for outstanding high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and impact resistance, suitable for industrial workshops and construction sites.

Flashback is a major safety hazard during oxy-fuel gas cutting and welding. When flame reverses back along the hose, it may damage the regulator or even trigger cylinder explosion. This brass flashback arrestor adopts internal flame-quenching and pressure shut-off mechanism. Once flashback occurs, it instantly extinguishes flame and cuts off reverse gas flow to protect the gas cylinder and pressure reducer. It also works as one-way valve to avoid gas backflow under abnormal pressure.

Oxygen and acetylene models have different internal structures and threads. Oxygen adopts right-hand thread while acetylene uses left-hand thread, cannot be interchanged. The product has a marked gas flow arrow; installation must follow the flow direction. Simple screw mounting directly onto regulator outlet, no extra tools needed.
