This export-grade hose-end flashback arrestor is designed to be installed between gas hose and welding/cutting torch. It adopts full brass construction with double barb connectors for quick assembly onto oxygen and acetylene rubber hoses. Oxygen version marked green and acetylene marked red for easy identification, with clear gas flow directional arrow for correct installation.

Flashback is a common dangerous hazard during oxy-fuel gas operations. When the flame burns backward along the hose, it may burn through the gas pipe and cause fire risk. This brass flashback arrestor uses built-in flame quenching filter and shut-off mechanism. If flashback occurs, it rapidly extinguishes flame and cuts reverse gas flow instantly to protect the torch and gas hose. It also works as one-way safety valve to prevent gas backflow.

Oxygen and acetylene models have different internal structures and must not be mixed up. The double barb fitting provides tight connection with standard welding rubber hoses, avoiding gas leakage.
